  Buried: Verinda "Brenda" Izena Stafford, 75, of Harrisburg, passed away at 9:27 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2008, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Ind. She was born on Nov. 26, 1932, in Harrisburg to the late Elmer C. and Etta (Jackson) Stafford. She was a Baptist by faith. Surviving family members include three sisters, Elizabeth Stafford of Harrisburg, Ruby Hall of Harrisburg and Virginia Stafford; nephew, Richard Hull and wife Debbie; nieces, Barbara McGehee and Carla Goeben and husband Deon; and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lyndon Stafford in infancy; nephew, Ray Hull; and a brother-in-law, Robert Hull. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2008, at Cedar Bluff Cemetery south of Harrisburg. Those wishing to attend should gather at the cemetery. There will be no visitation at Reed Funeral Chapel.
