Barbara Jean Stafford, 85, of Eureka, IL passed away at 7:51 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2020 at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born on September 8, 1935 in Taylorville, IL a daughter of Guy and Virginia Stockton Ballard. She married Lenon Clay Stafford on February 15, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away on November 2, 2002.
Survivors include two sons, David (Sharon) Stafford and Bob (Susan) Stafford; one daughter, Alicia (Bryan) Ellsworth; one brother, David (Marcella) Ballard.and four sisters, Marlene Dunn, Marcia Smith, Patty Huddleston and Marie Crowder
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and two sons, Douglas Stafford and Guy Thomas Stafford.
Barbara was a member of the Chapel of the Little Flock Church in Eureka.
A private family service will be held at Argo-Ruestman Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Pastor Dave Stafford will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Burial will be in Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are suggested at the visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Chapel of the Little Flock Church in Eureka.
