  Ruth V. Campbell, 91 passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 after a short illness. She was at Zionsville Meadows, Zionsville, IN. She received compassionate care from St. Vincent's Hos-pice surrounded by her loving family. Ruth was born in Jessamine County, KY in 1924, the fourth child of Clayton and Bessie Stafford. Her husband, Vernon, two sisters and one brother preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, David (Kathy) Campbell, Florida, Dale (Phyllis) Campbell, Kokomo. Her grandchildren: David W (Angie) Campbell, Zionsville, IN, Jim Campbell, Bloomington, IN, Stacy (Greg) Barkley, Jason Campbell, Kokomo, IN. Her 5 great grandchildren: Ethan, Zachary and Jillian Campbell, Zionsville, IN, Dylan Barkley and Lucas Campbell of Kokomo. Also very important in her life were her favorite niece and nephew, Faye Lankford and Wayne Aubrey, both of Lexington, KY, Chrissanna Anderson, her caregiver for the past year, and her funny and faithful parrot, Max who could often be heard saying, "I love you Mammy!". Ruth, a long time Kokomo resident, moved here with Vernon following his WWII service. She attended Southside Christian Church and retired from Delco Electronics after 30 years.
