  Donald L. Heavenridge, 56, 403 S. Hutchinson Ave., died at his residence Saturday evening. He was born in Muncie and had lived in this area all his life. He was formerly employed at Ball Brothers, but had worked at Warner Gear for the past 33 years. Mr. Heavenridge was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church, Moose Lodge 33, the United Auto Workers Local 287, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Surviving besides his wife, Martha, are a daughter, Mrs. William (Sheilah) Allen, and a son, Larry L. Heavenridge, both of Muncie; a brother, Marion K. Heavenridge, Detroit; a nephew, two step-nephews, and four grandchildren. Services will be held at Meeks Mortuary at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Garrett Phillips of Main Street United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and prior to the services Tuesday.
