  Rena N. McPhearson, age 95, life long resident of Elwood, passed away on March 22, 2012, at Community Parkview Care Center in Elwood following an extended illness. Rena was born on June 20, 1916, to Edward and Bertha (Locke) Stafford in Elwood. Rena married Alonzo "Lonnie" McPhearson on Dec. 28, 1951, and he passed away on Oct. 13, 1989. Rena retired in 1982 from Delco Electronics. She and her husband Alonzo enjoyed their home on Mississinewa. Rena is survived by: 2 Sons - John A. Diehl and his recently deceased wife Joyce of Elwood and Bill & Linda Diehl of Elwood Step-children- Robert McPhearson of MI, and Norma Leisure of Alexandria Grandchildren- John & (Barbara) Diehl of Elwood, Tabitha & (Rick) Bulla of Frankton, Todd Diehl of Muncie, Tobey & (Mike) Beaman of Elwood Great Grandchildren- Nicholas Walker, Landon Diehl, Rosie May Beaman and Kevin Beaman Several Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Paul Stafford, sister Rachel Beck, and Step-son William McPhearson Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 26, 2012, at Dunnichay Funeral Home with Rev.
