SALISBURY - Mrs. Zada Misenheimer Stafford, 101, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.
Born on July 12, 1913 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Nora Brown Misenheimer.
She was educated in the Rowan County Schools. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Lutheran Women and a former Sunday School teacher. In her early years she worked at Cannon Mills and sewing plants.
She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking and gardening.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Reid Stafford in 1999.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Johnsie Taylor (Wayne) of Salisbury and brother Charles Max Misenheimer of Charlotte; granddaughters Kimberly Echerd (Randy) of Mooresville and Susan Lyerly (Doug) of Salisbury and great-granddaughter Eden Lyerly.
