Hal McLean Redwine
Hal McLean "Macky" Redwine, 70, of Washington, D.C., died Friday, Sept. 1 , 2006, in Wilmington.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Timberlake Chapel o f Piedmont Funeral Home by Dr. Lee Jessup.
Mr. Redwine was born Nov. 25, 1935, in Lexington to Dr. and Mrs. James Da niel Redwine. After graduating from Lexington High School, he served in t he U.S. Army, earned a bachelor's degree from Duke University and graduat ed from the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill. Af ter law school, he practiced law in Charlotte at the firm of Henderson, H enderson and Shuford before moving to Washington, D.C. For many years h e made his home in Washington and Alexandria, Va., and during that time s erved the U.S. government in several different legal capacities.
