PENDLETON - Ira Edmund (Ed) Bronner, 61, passed away on August 3, 2004 af ter losing a courageous four year battle with cancer.
He was born in Hartsville, TN, September 25, 1942, a son to the late Will iam A. and Deliah (Stafford) Bronner, Sr.
He was a 1961 graduate of Alexandria High School. He was employed at Delp hi as an electrician for the past 31 years. He was a skilled and respecte d electrician and was recognized as Madison County's top electrician in 2 002. Ed loved his work and looked forward each day to going to his job an d being with the many friends he made while being there. He will be remem bered for his sense of humor and generosity toward others. Among his man y interests were woodworking, stained glass art, and fishing. His love o f the water led him to hand craft his own houseboat with trees that he cu t for his father-in-laws woods. He will be greatly missed by his family a nd friends.
He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Kinnard, who lovingly care d for him during his illness; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Bronner, and Su zanne Renee (Husband, Brian) Cohen; one granddaughter, Leah; his mother , Deliah Bronner; three brothers, Hilton (wife, Susie) Bronner, Jim (wife , Lorraine) Bronner, and Dennis (wife, Elaine) Bronner; one sister, Hele n Wasson; his mother-in-law, Wilma Kinnard; brother-in-law, Jim (wife, Gl oria) Kinnard; the mother of his children, Roberta Whitt; several niece s and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William a. Bronner Sr.; a brother , William A. Bronner, Jr.; a brother-in-law, ray Wasson and father-in-la w George Kinnard.
