- ROCK HILL - Mrs. Mary Nan Robbins Stafford, 93, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
- Services for Mrs. Stafford will be 11:00 AM, Monday, March 22, 2010 at Saint John's United Methodist Church, 321 S. Oakland Ave., with Rev. Ken Owens and Rev. Sandra King officiating. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery.
- Mrs. Stafford was born in Hickory Grove, SC and was the daughter of the late James E. Robbins and the late Mary Dowdle Robbins. Mrs. Stafford was a nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of Saint John's United Methodist Church for over 50 years, a member of the Browning-Sykes Sunday school class, and served on various committees. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stafford was preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge N. Stafford, Sr. and her son, Ronald E. Stafford.
- Mrs. Stafford is survived by her son, E. Ned Stafford, Jr. and his wife, Gail of Rock Hill; her daughter, Sandra S. Yawn and her husband, Herman of Rock Hill; her brother, Faye C. Robbins of Hickory Grove; and her four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
