  Randy Joe Stafford, 47, of Elliott County, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, in St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Randy was born on January 31, 1965, in West Liberty, he was the son of James L. Stafford of Elliott County and the late Bessie Alice Simmons Stafford. Randy was of the Church of God faith and a former carpenter. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Stafford. Besides his father, he is survived by a brother, Ronnie D. and wife, Audrey Stafford of Sandy Hook; six aunts, several cousins, and extended family and friends. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, with Brother George Stafford and Brother Hershell Gilliam officiating. Burial will be in the Simmons Family Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
