  Retired Teacher Imogene Stafford Spears, 79, died Tuesday, November 28 1995 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Spears was born March 25 1916, in Johnson County, the daughter of the late Ray Stafford and Julie Stapleton. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Raymond Spears, on October 25 1983; one brother, Paul Martin Stafford, and one sister, Dorothy Stafford. Surviving is one brother, Jack Stafford of California. Funeral services were held Friday, December 1 at Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with John Paul Salyers officiating. Burial was in the Mayo Cemetery at Paintsville, Johnson Co Ky.
