  Sarah Jane Lowman, age 83, of Latham, Ohio, died July 5, 2013 at Adena Pike Medical Center. Sarah was born to Ray G. and Emma Faye Taylor Stafford on May 12, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband Wylie Austin Lowman on January 14, 1978. Also preceding her in death were her mother, father, five brothers, John Ray Stafford, Billy Curtis Stafford, Bruce Edward Stafford, Jerry Roger Stafford, and Harold Eugene Stafford, one granddaughter, Emily Jayne Acton, and one grandson, Gregory Robson. Sarah is survived by two daughters, four grandsons, two adopted grandsons, three great-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. Sarah is also survived by two sisters, one brother, and very special best friends, George and Pat Lyons. Sarah retired from Martin Marietta after 39 yrs of service in 1994. She also owned and operated Sarah's Hair Care. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly. Burial will follow in Newfain Cemetery on Dry Bone Road. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. All are welcome after the burial at Sarah's home.
