Mrs. Stafford was born June 2, 1921 in Johnson County, the daughter of Andrew and Rosie Delong Wells. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curt (Curley) Stafford, in Nov 1971. Surviving are one son, Glenn Stafford of Cleveland, OH; two daughters, Diana Morris of Lexington and Betty Jo Stephens of Salyersville; one sister, Geraldine McCroskey of Elizabeth, WV; four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec 4 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Cantrell officiating. Burial was in Delong Cemetery at John's Creek. Paintsville Herald, Wednesday, Dec 7, 1988
