  Birth: Nov. 11, 1947 Death: Dec. 17, 2006 Herbert Ewell Stafford, 59, of Wilmore, died Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Center. Born Nov. 11, 1947, in Casey County, he was a son of the late B.F. and Jessie Atwood Stafford. He was a farmer and mechanic, and a member of Ninevah Christian Church in Lawrenceburg. He also was a Vietnam War veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife, Sue Rader Stafford; a son, Brian Stafford of Frankfort; a daughter, Christi Hack of Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Kay Henderson of Nicholasville and Carol Taylor of Versailles; and two grandsons. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Terry Cooper. Burial will be in Caney Fork Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve and Ray Taylor, Marty and Brandon Henderson, Brent Stafford, Bob Spears, Ben Buck and Kevin Chappell.
