  The Central Kentucky News Newspaper William R Hampton Liberty- William Robert Hampton, 63, of Hwy. 49, died Tuesday at his home. Born Nov.8, 1939 in Casey County, he was the son of the late John and Ethel Mae King Hampton. He was a farmer, an Army veteran, and a member of Atwood Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn F. Chelf Hampton, a daughter, Jan Spears of West Virginia, a step-daughter, Debbie Tapscott of Liberty, two step-sons, David A. Bryant of Elizabethtown, and Kevin R. Bryant of Alabama, a brother, James R. Hampton of Liberty, and six step-grandchildren. services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Ed Parton. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday.
