Paul Ellett Stafford passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Golden Living Center in Stanford, KY. He was 73 years old.Born April 25, 1943 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Ellett and Mildred Cochran Stafford. He was a salesman and entrepreneur.Survivors include his son, Barry (and Jennifer) Stafford of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Sherry (and David) Plant of Sellersburg, IN; five grandchildren, Jeremi, Jillian, and Jayden Stafford and Jana and Josh Plant; a brother, Kenneth Stafford of Liberty; and sisters, Bernice Ford , Shelby Jean Atwood, and Mary Belle Coppage , all of Indianapolis, IN.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jamie Plant.Memorial services are 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Brad King officiating. Burial will follow in Peavey Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Kosair Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cancer Unit, 231 E. Chestnut St. Louisville, KY 40202.
