From Bartle Funeral Home: Forrest "Bub" Stafford, age 93, of Liberty, KY passed away on Tuesday May 13th, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Liberty, KY on December 4th, 1920 to the late Herman and Mattie Zachary Stafford. He was a Retired Teacher, Principal, United States Army Veteran and a member of Westside Christian Church. As a hobby he had a love of woodworking where he had a special talent. Survivors include his spouse: Maxine Hatter Stafford, One Daughter: Donna Gail Stafford Rousey and (the late Billy Rousey) of Lexington, One Son: Danny Forrest and (Brenda) Stafford of Loxahatchee, FL, Seven Grandchildren: Forrest Scott and (Stephanie) Rousey, William Chadley Rousey, Deborah Rousey and (Rob) Ristaneo, Heather Nicole Stafford and (Joseph) Wilkos, Daniel Forrest Stafford, Matthew Alexander Stafford and Zachary Taylor Stafford, Six Great-Grandchildren: Robert Ristaneo, Lauren Ristaneo, Lucy Ristaneo, Adam Rousey, Nate Rousey and Abby Wilkos, One Brother: Tommy Stafford of Cincinnati, OH and One Sister: June Ann Ward of Louisville. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: Three Sisters: Edna Stafford Vaught, Iola Stafford Buchanan and Eva Stafford and Two Brothers: Cecil Earl "Dempsey" Stafford and Grady Stafford. Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. on Friday May 16th, 2014 and after 12:00 P.M. on Saturday May 17th, 2014 at Westside Christian Church. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday May 17th, 2014 at Westside Christian Church. Rev. Marty Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Westside Christian Church or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
