Raymond J. Neal, age 81 of Gilbertsville, passed away on Sunday, May 24th at his home of natural causes.
He was born October 3, 1938 in Marshall County, Kentucky the son of the late Raymond Carter and Lillian Borthick Neal.
He loved his family, fishing and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife Marbah Neal (2017); a son Ricky Neal (2020); four brothers Kenny, James, Bobby and Tom Neal and one sister Doris Stokes. He is survived by two daughters Bonnie Adair of Benton and Tammy Holmes of Gilbertsville; a sister Deloris Seay of Calvert City; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation with the Neal family will be on Thursday from 12:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the chapel of the Marshall County Funeral Home with Johnny Coffenberry officiating. Interment will follow at the Birmingham Cemetery in Benton.
Due to the Coronavirus (Covid19) there will be limited capacity. It is required that if you attend the visitation or service that you wear a mask and refrain from shaking hands and hugging as well as social distancing and keeping six feet apart.
