Mary Lou Stafford,81,of Delbarton,went home to be with the Lord Wednesday February 17,2010, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born January 10,1929,in Washington County, Va., she was a daughter of the late Walter and Nellie Spriggs. Also preceding her in death was her loving husband of 37 years, Willard Don Chafin, and her loving husband of 16 years, Brack Stafford; one brother, Robert Spriggs, and three sisters Mae Shaw, Pauline Spriggs and Myrtle Proklevich.
Those left to cherish her memories include: Joann (Harold) Marcum and Mary (Forest) Howard, both of North Manchester, Ind., Donald Marlene Chafin and Ronald (Barbara) Chafin, both of Delbarton, Jewel (Ward) Gartin of Taylorville and James (Jennifer) Chafin of South Point, Ohio; two sisters: Josephine Osborne of Lundale and Rochelle Thompson of Logan Center at Logan;
21 loving grandchildren,
45 loving great-grandchildren
five loving great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m.Sunday, February 21,at the James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny May and Rev. Vinny Morris officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Pallbearers will be her loving grandsons.
