Irvin N. Parcell, 78, of Rich Creek, died Thursday, August 3, 1995, at his home. He was born December 26, 1916 at Crumpler, W. Va. and was the son of the late Albert Wesley and Elsie Hamblin Parcell. Mr. Parcell was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Rich Creek, Va. and was retired fro Hoechst-Celanese Corp. in Narrows, Va., where he had worked in the Preparation Dept. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Therrie Ann, four brothers and two sisters. Surviving is his wife, Ernestine Stafford Parcell, Rich Creek; two sons, Gerald Stafford Parcell, Pearisburg, Tony Parcell, Narrows; one daughter, Pamela Parcell Lucas, Maynardville, Tenn.; one brother, Clayton Parcell, Staffordsville; one sister, Argie Spangler, Pearisburg; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 1995, at the First United Methodist Church at Rich Creek, Va., with the Rev. Jeff Callahan and the Rev. Tim Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens at Rich Creek, Va. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday, August 4, 1995, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, W. Va. and at the church, one hour prior to services.
