Patricia Lynne `Pat` Stafford, 64, of Charleston passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Hidden Valley Center, Oak Hill. Pat was a graduate of Charleston High School and Radford College. She worked for many years as a computer programmer for the Kanawha County Board of Education. A lifelong resident of Charleston, Pat was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Business Women`s Association Mountain State Charter Chapter for many years and was their Woman of the Year in 2009. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, William E. and Georgie Hamrick Stafford; and her first cousin, Leslie W. Hamrick Jr. of Ravenswood. She is survived by her aunt, Olive Hamrick of Charleston. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens West Virginia Mausoleum, Cross Lanes, with the Rev. Monty Brown and the Rev. Janet Harman officiating. A memorial service will also be held at St. Marks United Methodist Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Marks United Methodist Church, 900 Washington St., Charleston, WV 25301. Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home, Charleston, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
