  WESTON - Elmer Stafford, 83, of Weston died Sept. 17, 1999, in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was retired from Holden Contracting. Surviving: wife, Stella Mae Bailey Stafford; daughters, Doris Taylor of Gaithersburg, Md., Linda Hess and Phyllis Sumrell, both of Mount Lookout, Brenda Stafford of Abingdon, Va., Judith Piercy of Weston; sons, Charles and Bruce, both of Weston; brothers, Will, Brack, Harlan and Arlon; sisters, Inez White and Lena Kincaid; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Floyd Funeral Home, Weston, with the Rev. Joseph Shreve officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Jane Lew. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
