Alice Stafford Lemasters 101, of Clarksburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 12, 2021 at United Hospital Center. She was born October 27, 1919 in Boulder WV, the daughter of the late Henry and Josephine Mitchell Stafford.
Alice was a member of the Broad Oaks United Methodist Church, where she was a member for sixty-eight years. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family.
Alice is survived by her two sons, Wayne Edward Lemasters, Clarksburg, Theodore “Ted” Lemasters and wife Linda Jo Bridgeport; seven grandchildren; Tracy Lemasters and wife Tracey Jane, Debbie Huff and husband Michael, Joann Lemasters and Kim Hyatt, Susan Hammond and husband Bob, Mike Lemasters and wife Lori, Cheryl McCarthy and husband Michael, Kimberly Sprouse and husband Doug fourteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of fifty one years and married on April 1941, Earl Wayne Lemasters on June 15, 1992; one daughter, Susan JoAnn Lemasters Smith; one daughter-in-law, Sandra Russell Lemasters; two brothers, Harry Stafford and wife Edith, Charles “Charlie” Stafford and wife Loudea; two sisters, Elizabeth Haddix and husband Homer, Gladys Mink and husband John.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301 on Monday February 15, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Davis Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lemasters family.
