Millard F. Reever, 79, of Springettsbury Township, died at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday at Manor Care Kingston Court. He was the husband of the late Marion H. Reever.
The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Reever was born July 28, 1914 in Springettsbury Township. He was the son of the late Emmanuel and Flora (Knaub) Reever.
He was a retired bartender for the Kreutz Creek Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Kreutz Creek Post 7045 Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Wrightsville American Legion Post 127, the Loyal Order of Moose in Mifflinburg, the Buffalo Valley Sportsman Association in Mifflinburg, the Springettsbury Fire Company, the Hellam Fire Company and the Springettsbury Ambulance Club.
Mr. Reever is survived by a brother, Kenneth Reever of York; two sisters, Flossie Gladfelter of York, and Evelyn Ginithan of Seattle, Wash
