Miriam A. Stafford passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 at Genesis Health Care Quakertown Center. She was 81. She was the wife of the late Warren L. Stafford, who died in 1985. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Peters) Silcox.
Mrs Stafford graduated from Bob Jones University, with a bachelor's degree in Piano Pedagogy in 1952. She taught at Calvary Baptist Christian School from 1971 to 1975, and Upper Bucks Christian School from 1975 until retiring in 1997.
A member of Bethel Baptist Church, East Rockhill Township, she was a Sunday school teacher, a pianist, and also volunteered with the Shut-In Ministry.
She is survived by a son, W. Keith Stafford and his wife, Carol of Greenville, S.C.; three daughters, Linda Fleming and her husband, Jeff of Clymer, Pa., Carol Willey and her husband, Robert of Flemington, N.J., and Debbie McLanahan of North Wales; and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
