Clyde Stafford
Clyde Stafford, son of Ed and Mirtie Stafford was born on May 1, 1899, in Republic City, Kan., and passed away on February 2, 1964, in Trail, Ore., after an illness of 8 weeks. He lived most of his life in Medford, Ore., and was a fisherman. He was a veteran of World War I, having served as private in the 43rd Service Company. Most of his service was overseas duty.
Survivors include one daughter, Irene Mattl and husband Jiles of Denver, Colo., his mother, Mrs. Mirtie Stafford of Belleville two brothers, Doyle Stafford of Kansas City, Leon Stafford of Denver, two sisters, Hazel Schneberger of Cuba and Oma Havel of Omaha, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on February 5, at the Veterans Domiciliary Chapel at White City, Ore.
