Vernon Dean Schneberger
Vernon Dean Schneberger, son of William and Hazel Schneberger, was born December 19, 1919 at Cuba, Kansas, and died February 4, 2000.
He was a native of Belleville, Kansas, attended school there.
He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a heavy equipment operator until retiring in 1976.
He was united in marriage to Leona Stenson in 1941.
They lived in Republic County, Kansas and moved to Oregon in 1964, settling in Keizer in 1967.
He was a member of Local 701 Operating Engineers, Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Schneberger of Salem, Oregon, two daughters, Sandra Park and Hazel Diarmit, both of Salem, Oregon, a son, Vernon Schneberger of Keizer, Oregon, a sister, Evelyn Linton of Hebron, Nebraska, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
No memorial services were held.
Interment was made in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Oregon.
