  Norman was born to Leslie Evert and Bessie (Stafford) Holmes on a farm near Byron NE and died in Kelso WA. Andy, as Norman was known to his family and many friends, grew up on farms near Byron and Republic KS. He married Novella Gray Wilson on 21 Sep 1925 and two children were born to this union.
