  Birth: Apr. 6, 1851 Thurston Steuben County New York, USA Death: Feb. 15, 1941 Westfield Tioga County Pennsylvania, USA Mrs. Margaret Edsall Gould Stafford died at her home in Jemison, Feb. 15, after a short illness. She was the daughter of Thomas D. and Charlotte Lewis Edsall and was born April 6, 1851, at Thurston, N.Y. Early in life she became affiliated with the church at Thurston. She married James Gould, deceased, and to them was born one daughter, Mrs. Carrie West, of Keeneyville, who survives. Eight years later, she married John Stafford, who died July 12, 1925. The following survive: Andrew, of Sabinsville; Eugene at home; George, of Elmira and Mrs. Edith Swimley, of Westfield; two granddaughters, Mrs. Jessie Sticklin, of Wellsboro, and Mrs. Orville Stafford, with whom she made her home. Funeral services were held at the Cowanesque church Tuesday, Rev. C. E. Swearingen, of the Westfield Methodist church, officiating, with Rev. James Burkema assisting; burial in the Champlin cemetery.
