Wellsboro Agitator - December 12, 1963
Warren G Stafford, 82, of Middlebury Center, died Friday. He was a retired laborer. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mary Stafford, sons Charles with the U. S. Army in Alabama, Warren, Jr. of Wellsboro and Merrill of Middlebury Center, daughters, Mrs. Iva Main, of Horseheads, Mrs. Lee Witter, of Little Marsh, Mrs. Cora Vargeson and Mrs. Ethel Baker of Elkland, Mrs. Betty Finnerty of Lawrenceville and Mrs. Barbara Reynolds, of Galeton, a sister, Mrs. Cassie Close of Middlebury Center, a brother, Delancy Hornsby of Little Marsh and 31 grandchildren. Funeral was held Monday from the Watkins Funeral Home in Westfield, the Rev. Richard Shaw officiating. Burial in the Champlin Cemetery, Westfield.
