  Age 89, son of the late Arthur and MillieStockton Bell. He resided in the Erie area since 1947.  He worked in maintenance with the Harbor Creek School District for 23 years before retiring in 1979. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was active with Wesley United Methodist Church. He enjoyed wood crafts and gardening.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ara Adams and Mary Ellen Foster; and three brothers, E.D., A.J. Jr. (age 4) and J.B. Bell. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Stafford Bell; two sons, Kevin Bell and his wife, Darlene, of Carmel, Ind., and Blaine Bell and his wife, Johanna, of North East; three sisters, Lula True, Elizabeth Moore and Mavis Elliott, all of Clovis, N.M.; a brother, L.A. Bell of Albuquerque, N.M.; five grandchildren and a stepgrandson. Burial with full military honors will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
