  Age 72, daughter of the late James G. and EllaHaaf Stafford.  The 1943 graduate of Academy High School had been employed by the Erie School District as a secretary at McKinley Elementary. She provided the same services at Academy High School for 18 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, the School Secretaries Union and a volunteer at Senior Source. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James R. McLaughlin; two daughters, Doreen J. McLaughlin of Hill Air Force Base, Utah, and Debra E. McCaleb and her husband, Brian, of Edwards Air Force Base, California; a sister, Lucille Berman of Erie; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum.
