  James was the son of James and Sarah A. (Stewart) Stafford. ---- James F. Stafford, a resident of Millington, Md. since last May, died Friday in Delaware Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks. Born in Christiana, Mr. Stafford was single, and had lived most of his life in this city, making his home, for 45 years, with Mrs. Clayton Dresh and the late Mr. Dresh. An employe of the Diamond Ice and Coal Company for 53 years, he had been a member of the Phoenix Hook and Ladder Company of the Wilmington Volunteer Fire Department before it was taken over by the city. He had no immediate survivors. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the James Mullikin Funeral Home, 27th and Market Sts., with the Rev. F. Raymond Baker, pastor of Second Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Christiana Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.
