SCARBOROUGH AND RIPLEY- Kenneth "Budge" Stafford, 74, died July 26, 2013, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. He was born February 24, 1939, in Ripley, the son of Kenneth and Mary (Morril) Stafford.
He was a graduate of Dexter High School and served in the United States Army for 24 years. He later worked for Dexter Shoe Company.
He was a member of the Penobscot Masonic Lodge in Dexter. He was an avid reader and a loyal Red Sox and Patriots fan. He enjoyed traveling with his wife in their RV, and spent the past several winters at their home in Florida.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, brother, Cecil, daughter, Kelly, and son, Ken.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy (Tower) Stafford; daughter, Beth Myrick and her husband, Jeff of Standish; daughter, Patty Laferriere and her husband, Rob of Gorham, daughter Amy Stafford of Seattle; and four grandchildren, Kalen and Evan Stafford, and William and James Myrick.
