Norma Jean Stafford age 79 of Hillsboro died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Heartland of Hillsboro. She was born November 17, 1934 in Highland County, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Carrie Inez Davidson Rhoads. Mrs. Stafford was a homemaker. She is survived by her eight children, twenty-five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James A. Alexander in 1964, her second husband, Lonnie Tallmadge Stafford in 2000, one son, Steve Alexander, one grandson, Brentley Montgomery, three sisters, Hazel Tong, Helen Frye, Mary Garman Waits and three brothers, John Rhoads, Paul Rhoads and Howard Rhoads. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9th at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Randell Goble will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
