Sergeant Paul David Stafford, age 23, died July 17, 2012. He was born in Columbus on January 18, 1989 to David and Rebecca Stafford.
He was a graduate of Olentangy High School, class of 2007. Paul joined the U.S. Marine Corps on July 17, 2007 and was proudly serving his country with the 4th MARDIV HQBN COMM Co. During his military career as a radio operator, he served tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, earning the Navy/Marine Corp Achievement Medal, with Valor Device, the Combat Action Ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal. He always enjoyed playing basketball and listening to music, but he truly loved spending time with his daughters. Paul was a loving, kind and honorable man, who had a great respect for his family and his country. He was a special person that will truly be missed by his family, friends, and his brothers and sisters in arms.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul O. and Bessie M. Stafford.
He is survived by his father, David Stafford and Cheryl Kehlmier;
mother, Rebecca Stafford;
Fiancée, Lacey McClarren;
daughters, Trinity and Aubriah;
siblings, Jacquelyn Paige Stafford, Melissa Dawn Stafford, and Danielle Marie (Joel) Seery;

aunts, Rochelle Cole and Susan (Raymond) Foor;
uncles, Guy Cole and Michael Stafford;
