PELFREY, Rose Ann, age 56, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at her home. She was born Feb. 28, 1952 in Metropolis, Illinois, the daughter of Jack and Thelma (McNeely) Stafford. She is survived by her parents, of Xenia, and her loving husband: Bobby Dale Pelfrey, whom she married Nov. 29, 1968; 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Aaron and Diane Pelfrey, of Jamestown; and Tim and Donna Pelfrey, of Xenia; a sister and brother-in-law: Rebecca and Charles Bryant, of Xenia; mother-in-law: Dorcis Pelfrey, of Miamisburg; 3 sisters-in-law and their husbands: Jackye and John Pennington, of TN; Rebecca and Joe Naylor, of Centerville; Judy and Tim Vosler, of Huber Heights; 2 brothers-in-law: Ronnie and Randy Pelfrey, both of Sherman, TX; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, James Pelfrey. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. Ron Sparks officiating. Internment to follow in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. Her family will receive friends Friday from 9 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greene County, 187 Bellbrook Ave., Xenia, OH 45385.
