Lois S. Corbet, age 91 of Beavercreek, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was born January 27, 1922 to the late Edwin and Ella (Schulz) Stafford. Preceded in death by husband, Charles W. Corbet; grandson, Joshua R. Brewer, and her 5 siblings. Survived by four children; four grandchildren; special nephew, Ed; four sisters-in-law; brother in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1939 and the University of Dayton in 1943. She taught school at Mad River and Beavercreek schools before raising her children. Lois was a member of Mt Zion Church her entire life and was active in Grange, Farm Bureau, Homemakers, and 4-H with her children. Family thanks the staff of Oak Creek Terrace for their care the last 6 years. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall with Pastor Pete Peterson and Pastor Joe Redmond officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 10 am until the time of services on Saturday, February 1.
