  Clara Jo Stafford, 83, of Columbus, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at Highbanks Care Center. She was born August 22, 1928 in Marysville, daughter of the late Jesse and Verna Erwin Cook.  In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Stafford Sr. and brother, Francis Eugene Cook.  She is survived by her  children, Carl (Muriel) Stafford Jr., James (Debra) Stafford, Bobbi Sue Leahy, Thomas Stafford and Gini Payne; grandchildren, Lisa, Amy, Emily, Jesse, Chris, Stephen, Brooke; eleven great grandchildren.  Funeral service at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Interment in Northlawn Memory Gardens.
