  Danny was born in Portage Township, the son of Robert and Ruth Miller. His father was born in England and his mother in Ohio.He had two brothers and two sisters. He married Rosa Stafford under the name W.D. on 17 July 1887 in Wood County, and they had a son Myron Daniel born in 1888 in Mermill but the christening took place in Richland County. Danny was a farmer. He died of typhoid fever.
