MRS. HAZEL ELLIOTT
Mrs. Hazel Elliott, aged 64, of Essex, died in Grant Hospital, Sunday, Jan. 29 at 3:30 p.m. She had been in ill health three years.
Mrs. Elliott was born December 12, 1885 in Jackson township, Union County to Oliver and Louisa Baldwon Mather. She was married March 23, 1904 in Richmond, Ohio, to George B. Elliott who survives, also two children, Bernard Elliott and Evelyn Elliott, both of Columbus and one grandchild. One son, Kenneth Elliott, preceeded his mother in death sixteen years ago. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Essex Methodist church and Mt. Carmel Chapter No. 42, Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Hastings Funeral Home, Rev. John Elwood officiating. Burial in charge of Edgar D. Hastings was made in Price cemetery.
