Barbara Lee Konrad (nee Stafford), 65, of Elyria, died November 18, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain.
She was born August 31, 1948 in Man, WV and graduated from Vermilion High School in 1966 and Sandusky School of Nursing in 1988 as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Barbara lived in Fremont for thirty four years and had been employed at Fremont Memorial Hospital, Arbors of Clyde and St. Francis Health Care Center in Green Springs, from where she retired in 2007. She was a member and taught children's Sunday school at Fuller Road Community Church in Elyria. She was also a member of Elyria V.F.W. Post 1079 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and the Caribbean.
Barbara is survived by sons, Jack B. Konrad, Jr. of Vermilion and Daniel L. Konrad of Bloomville, OH; grandchildren, Seth, Emily, Erin and Devin; mother, B. Lorrraine Cragin of Elyria; and a brother, Donald Stafford of Taylorsville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald L. Stafford in 1968; and stepfather, Richard E. Cragin in 2005.
Friends will be received Thursday November 21, 2013 from 9:30 AM until the time of an 11:00 AM service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Pastor Ervin Jones will officiate with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
