Obituary:
Mrs. Milligan, 59, Dies Sunday
Mrs. Blanche Milligan, 59, Cass City, died Sunday, March 11, [1973], at Hills and Dales General Hospital after an extended illness.
Mrs. Milligan was born in Owendale, Mich. Jan. 25, 1914, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stafford.
She was married to Mr. James Milligan Oct. 25, 1939 in Cass City where they made their home following their marriage.
She was a teacher in Saginaw for a number of years and taught the fifth grade at Cass City Elementary School. She attended the First Presbyterian Church of Cass City.
She is survived by her husband, James; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Heather) Healy of Detroit; two sons, Mr. Hugh Milligan of Caro and Allen, at home; one brother, Mr. Nile Stafford of Naperville, Illinois, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 14, at Little's Funeral Home.
Rev. Douglas Wilson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. Melvin Vender, Pastor Emeritus of the First Presbyterian Church officiated.
