Obituary:
Mrs. Glen Wright
A pall of sadness came over neighbors of Mrs. Glen Wright on Wednesday, August 12, when the announcement was made that she had that morning slipped out of life into the great beyond. She had been in poor health for some time and had been confined to her bed for the last two weeks, but her condition had not been regarded as serious.
Mrs. Wright, the former Cleo Betsey Stafford, was born in Silverwood May 8, 1901, and was married to Glen Wright on March 14, 1924. They came to make their home in Cass City and have resided here since. Mrs. Wright passed away at her home on South Seeger Street about 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters Marjorie and Mary Lou, both at home; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Ivory of Lapeer, Mrs. Laverne Ivory of North Branch and Mrs. Paul Wheatley of Flint; and two brothers, Charles Stafford and Geore Stafford, both of Flint.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Evangelical Church in Cass City. Rev. S.P. Kirn, assisted by Rev. George D. Bugbee, will conduct the services and burial will be in Elkland Cemetery. The body will be at the Douglas Funeral Home until the time of the funeral service.
