Obituary:
Mrs. Lucille Arrie Stafford, 73, of Vermilion, Ohio, formerly of Cass City, died Monday, May 8, at the Lorain Community Hospital in Ohio after a short illness.
She was born June 9, 1915, in Silverwood. Her parents were Mason and Mary (Sergent) Wilson.
She married Carl Stafford July 1, 1937, in Elmwood. They lived in Cass City, Ubly and Granite City, Ill., before moving to Vermilion in 1983.
Mrs. Stafford was a life member of Echo Chapter #337 OES, Cass City, a member of the White Shrine, Hills and Dales Hospital Auxiliary, a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church and past president of the Ubly Woman's Club.
Survivors include her husband, Carl; 2 daughters, Mrs. James (Sharron) Gettens of Vermilion, Ohio, and Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Ambuehl of Granite City, Ill.; 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Two sisters died previously.
Funeral services were held Thursday at Little's Funeral Home, Cass City, with Rev. Eldred Kelley, pastor of the Evangelical Free Church of Cass City, officiating.
Burial was in Elkland Cemetery, Cass City.
