  Saginaw News obituary: Nolan F. Stafford of Reese passed away Monday, January 19, 1976, at Bay City General Hospital after a short illness. Age 74 years. He was born December 16, 1901, in Reese and had been a lifelong resident. He married Leta Irene Stewart June 2, 1934, in Gilford, Michigan. He was a member of the Gilford United Methodist Church and was a retired farmer. Surviving besides his wife are one son, Allan Stafford, Reese; four daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Maxine) Finkbeiner Jr., Bay City; Mrs. John (Mable) Dimmick, Millington; Mrs. Eugene (Mildred) Miller, Essexville; Mrs. Robert (Ruth Ann) Stevenson II, St. Johns, Michigan
