  From Saginaw News March 12, 1979: Mrs. Shirley J. Williamson...passed away Sunday, March 11, 1979, at Caro Community Hospital after a lenghty illness. Age 53 years. Shirley Jean Hutchinson was born Nov. 17, 1925, in Clio, Mi. She was married to Melvin Williamson Sept. 24, 1946. He survives her. She was a member of the Caro United Methodist Church. She had worked at Square Deal Autoparts and was village clerk of the Village of Caro for seven years. Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Miss Diana Sue Williamson, Caro; her mother, Mrs. Bernice Hutchinson, Caro; a step-grandmother, Mrs. Katherine Stafford, Clio; one sisiter, Mrs. Marjorie O'Dell, Caro; aunts, uncles and cousins. Her father, Thomas Hutchinson, and a sister, Thelma, predeceased her.....burial in Caro Cemetery....
