In December, Cecil's wife of 45 years, Margaret, passed away. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mabel Stafford.
Cecil is survived by his children, Jack (Rita), James Denson, Tammy (Danny) Hughes, and Lori (Bill) Swatsworth; grandchildren, Chad (Tanya), Nicole (Eric), Stacy (Clinton), Sarah (Derek), Eric (Nikki), Valerie, Jim (Amy), Jocelyn, Jeff, Dustin and Reanna; and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Arthur, of Missouri.
Cecil was a tool and die maker his whole professional life. Before that, he proudly served his country in the Army during two tours of the Korean War. During his time in the Army, Cecil acted as both an engineer and a sharpshooter. When not working, Cecil could be found fishing and travelling the country, hunting bear, antelope, deer, and other wild game.
Cecil and Margaret were very social in their assisted living home. They could be found playing Bingo, gardening, and taking part in other activities. Cecil was also part of the Men's Club within the home.
