He was born December 15, 1925, in Jackson County , Tennessee, to the late Jim and Addie Stafford. He wa s married to the late Lorene Stafford, who passed away July 12 , 1985. He was a retired logger and a member of the Beec h Grove Church of Christ. Mr. Stafford served in the U.S. Nav y during World War II. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded i n death by 1 Son: Douglas Fay Stafford; 1 Grandson: Matthe w Stafford; 3 Brothers: Jordan, Lex, and John Henry Stafford ; & 5 Sisters: Ethel Stafford, Polly Stafford, Annie Stewart, Mami e Jones, and Vallie Cunningham.
