  Albert Montgomery Stafford, Jr., age 73, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016. He was born on June 15, 1943 in Pearisburg, VA.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Jane Stafford; his wife, Barbara Coulson Stafford; and sister, Jane Ann Stafford Gibson.  Albert was a member of the Wytheville Masonic Lodge #82, the Kazim Shrine Temple in Roanoke, VA and was retired from the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. Survivors include his children, Jennifer Stafford Smith and Chris, John Tickle Stafford and Katie, and Jason Daniel Stafford and Meranda, all; grandchildren, Sara Stafford, Caleb Stafford, Joe Stafford, Katie Smith, and Brandie Shrader; Haili Stafford, Logan Hawks; and special friend, Jean Ashworth Lambert. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Barnett Funeral Home with Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery in Bland, County, VA.
